![]() ![]() Rather than porting Nisus Writer to Mac OS X Nisus released a fundamentally new product called Nisus Writer Express. It is still available for purchase and runs under Mac OS 9.2.2 and PowerPC-based Mac OS X, but only in the Classic environment. ![]() I have both, but use Nisus much more often. Nisus Writer 6.5 is the last classic version of Nisus. If you don't share your files, Mellel is fine though, and has more capabilities than Nisus. Mellel uses it's own format, and the conversion to RTF is rather spotty, if you need to share your documents. Nisus handles Hebrew very well, but needs some initial (and easy) tender loving care to set it up correctly. If you are upgrading, you will need your previous Express license. For those upgrading from any previous version of Express, the cost is 20. Its fast, is brilliant with Hebrew, and works perfectly with Sente (my preferred Reference manager). Scrivener (/ s k r v n r /) is a word-processing program and outliner designed for writers. You can now download the new Pixelmator Pro update from the App Store, with. Well, in fact the problem isn't Pages so much as the os x font rendering engine, which Pages uses. Hi, I use both, but I definitely use Mellel more. Nisus Writer Pro 3.2 adds support for Apple Silicon. ![]()
